Asikko FlexPay — Terms & Conditions

By choosing Asikko FlexPay at checkout you agree to these Terms.

1. Minimum payment

To start a FlexPay plan, your first payment must be at least 30% of the total — that is, the ticket price plus any applicable platform fee. Plans cannot be started with less than this amount.

2. Reservation policy

A successful first payment reserves your ticket and immediately reduces the available inventory for that event. Your ticket is held for you from that moment, but it is not delivered until your plan is fully paid.

3. Reservation deposit

Your first FlexPay payment (at least 30% of the total) is a reservation deposit. It reserves your selected ticket(s) and immediately removes them from available inventory.

Because the organizer commits those seats to you from that moment, the reservation deposit is non-refundable — whether or not you later complete the plan. Any approved refund applies only to eligible installments paid after the deposit, less applicable processing fees.

By choosing FlexPay, you acknowledge and accept this reservation policy.

4. Ticket issuance

Your QR ticket is generated only once your plan is fully paid. At that point the plan moves to the status “Ticket Issued” and the ticket is delivered to you automatically.

5. Payment deadline

You may pay the balance in any amounts and across any number of payments, at any time up to the official event start time. There is no fixed schedule — pay at the pace that works for you, provided the plan is completed before the event begins.

6. Automatic cancellation

At the exact event start time, any plan that is not fully paid is automatically cancelled. No ticket or QR code is issued for a cancelled plan.

7. Forfeiture of amounts paid

If a plan is incomplete when the event starts, the amounts already paid toward that plan are forfeited. We encourage you to complete your plan in good time so this does not happen.

8. Escrow & organizer settlement

Installment payments made through FlexPay are held in escrow by Asikko and are not released to the organizer immediately. This hold exists so that refunds can be processed cleanly while a plan is still in progress.

Held funds are released to the organizer's wallet only when (a) the plan is fully paid, or (b) the event has started. Until then the funds remain in escrow.

Organizers can see their pending (held) installment balances on their dashboard, and receive an email notification when held funds are moved into their wallet.

9. Refund policy

  • Refunds are manual and admin-processed.
  • Requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event.
  • Processing typically takes around 24 hours.
  • Your reservation deposit (the first payment) is never refunded — see section 3.
  • Only plans that are not yet fully paid qualify. An approved refund returns only the installments paid after the deposit, minus processing fees — i.e. refund = total paid − reservation deposit − processing fees.
  • Fully paid tickets cannot be refunded through FlexPay— once a plan is complete, the funds are settled to the organizer's wallet.

10. Organizer responsibilities

  • FlexPay is enabled by default; organizers may switch it off per event at their discretion.
  • Organizers are responsible for delivering the event as advertised and for honouring tickets issued through FlexPay.
  • Organizers acknowledge that installment funds are held in escrow and settled to their wallet as described in Section 7.

11. Platform responsibilities

  • Asikko processes all FlexPay payments securely and holds installment funds in escrow.
  • Asikko issues QR tickets automatically on full payment and notifies organizers when held funds are released.
  • Asikko administers refunds in line with this policy but is not responsible for the conduct or cancellation of an event by an organizer.
